Washington NOW
is excited to share results from our 2026 endorsement process!
Over the past several weeks, our endorsement committee reviewed candidate questionnaires and campaign materials, and interviewed candidates about issues affecting women and families across Washington. The interview process gave us an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about their priorities, experience, and how they plan to approach issues important to NOW.
Following that process, Washington NOW has endorsed:
Senator Claire Wilson — Washington State Senate, District 30
Julia Payne — Washington House of Representatives, District 6
Danica Noble — Washington House of Representatives, District 32
Representative Gerry Pollet — Washington House of Representatives, District 46
Toshiko Hasegawa — King County Council, District 2
The committee also interviewed Representative Rick Larsen (U.S. House of Representatives, District 2) and voted to recommend him for endorsement. Because congressional endorsements are handled through National NOW, we have forwarded our recommendation to National NOW for consideration.
Thank you to all of the candidates who took the time to participate in our endorsement process and have thoughtful conversations with the committee about their priorities and the issues important to NOW. We also want to thank the members of our endorsement committee who spent the past several weeks reviewing materials, participating in interviews, and helping us complete this process on a tight election-year timeline.
We’re glad to be able to share the results of that work with our members and will also be publishing information about our endorsed candidates through Washington NOW so that our community can learn more about the endorsements as Election Day approaches.

We track bills related to immigrant protections, surveillance cameras in and around WA, abortion access, and preventing sex trafficking. Each bill includes a link to comment directly to your legislators, making it easier to speak up on priority issues!
All issues are women’s issues.
Washington State NOW is leading grassroots efforts for gender justice across our state—fighting for reproductive freedom, LGBTQIA+ rights, racial equity, economic justice, and more.
We believe feminism must be intersectional. That means showing up for all women—black and brown women, trans women, disabled women, immigrant women, and every woman whose rights are under attack. We’re organizing, lobbying, and mobilizing for real change. It’s time to take action.
